In-licensing Opportunities

NEMOD is currently looking for pipeline products in the field of therapeutic antibodies and cancer vaccines. Our focus lies on products that have finished extensive preclinical studies to candidates in phase I clinical trials.

Out-licensing Opportunities

PankoMab™ & KaroMab™:
Therapeutic antibodies for immunotoxin platforms

NEMOD is developing the two tumor specific antibodies PankoMab™ and KaroMab™ in a radiolabeled format. PankoMab™ recognizes a novel tumor epitope on MUC1, KaroMab™ targets the Thomsen-Friedenreich antigen. NEMOD offers licenses for both antibodies (and further potentials, e.g. Mabs against the tumor specific Lewis-Y antigen and Globo H) for the development of all non-radioactive formats.
Both antibodies are of murine origin and are available in different formats (chimeric antibodies, multibodies). In addition, humanized antibody constructs are available for KaroMab.

Development Status: Advanced preclinical

PankoMetin™: Antibody for liver metastases prevention

PankoMetin™ is developed as an TF-specific chimeric or humanized IgM for the prevention of liver metastases. As shown in a mouse model the murine PankoMetin™ can inhibit TF-mediated liver metastasis. TF is an independent prognostic factor for liver metastases and clinical outcome. PankoMetin™ is aimed to be applied in the clinical setting to prevent or reduce liver metastases of TF-positive cancers after surgery.

Development status: preclinical studies finished; chimeric PankoMetin producing cell line and humanized constructs are available.

PankoVAC™: Allogenic cell vaccine

PankoVAC™ is being developed as an allogenic vaccine. Compared to autologous tumor cell vaccines PankoVAC™ shows all the advantages of an off-the-shelf refinement and production. Master cells of hematopoetic origin were glycoengineered to express a series of pan-carcinomic tumor antigens including carbohydrate tumor antigens. These antigens are more specific for tumor cells and more widespread on these cells than conventional tumor-associated antigens. In addition, the master cells express several co-immunostimulatory molecules.

Development status: Early preclinical

Co-development Opportunities

NemodDC™: dendritic cell platform

NEMOD has a strong IP position on the NemodDC™ platform and is looking for both co-development partners with proprietary antigens for cancer indications and license partners for other indications like infectious diseases, autoimmunity and transplantation.

PankoPep™: Prophylactic breast cancer vaccine

PankoPep™ is being developed as a prophylactic multivalent vaccine for breast (and ovarian) cancer. It is based on a combination of synthetic glycopeptides and carbohydrate structures representing multiple tumor epitopes from different sources. The rationale of PankoPep™ is to induce a strong protective immune response against cancer cells in high risk populations.

Development Status: early preclinical.
