Core Technologies


NEMOD’s core technologies focus on the generation and development of therapeutic antibodies against carbohydrate and glycoprotein tumor antigens (GlykoMab™) and the development of cancer vaccines and research tools based on NemodDC™, the world-wide first commercially available fully functional human dendritic cell line.

NEMOD’s GlykoMab™ technology is based on our specific know-how in the generation of antibodies against highly complex carbohydrate, glycoprotein, and conformational structures. We are experts for in-house antibody chimerization, humanization, and multimerization platforms of antibodies and antibody fragments. Additionally, NEMOD has developed a proprietary technology for the easy and fast generation of anti-idiotypic antibodies and surrogate molecules. Furthermore, we have established a large set of assay systems to test specificity and properties of the antibodies and antibody fragments. NEMOD employs assays to test biochemical, physiochemical and functional properties, e.g. ADCC, CDC, endocytosis, apoptosis, shedded antigens, biodistribution and tumor models.

The human dendritic cell line NemodDC™ serves as the basis for off-the-shelf, cost effective dendritic cell based vaccine development against cancer and infectious diseases, and as ready to use dendritic cells for adoptive T-cell therapy. Standardized NemodDC™ is also a key component in various preclinical and immunological assays, which are the core of our Immuno-Service platform for research and preclinical development. Standardized and quality controlled NemodDC™ are sold in different differentiation states, if required together with matched and quality controlled T-cells, ready to use on a vial per vial basis for immunological testing purposes and quality control.
